In collaboration with The Philosophy House, The Fujairah Youth Council organised a “Youth and Philosophy” session. The session, presented by Dr. Ahmed Barqawi, discussed the meaning of philosophy as the science of thinking and how to raise questions and engage in a logical search for the hidden meanings of things. Furthermore, it shed light on the role of cultural philosophy in formulating logical arguments among the youth and its importance in developing logic to counter ideological intolerance and preserve the stability of communities and peoples.
The session also examined the meanings of human values that elevate reason and the concepts of life’s tendency, while analyzing the purpose of human existence and how to transform ideas into a potential reality.
