This book is unique for its analytical specificity that unveils in Arabic the philosophical backgrounds inherent in Heidegger’s original treatments concerning being, language, technique, politics, art, and religion. The research throughout this book is based on Heidegger’s German texts published in his complete works (Gesamtausgabe), some of which were released in the last five years. Moreover, the chapters of this research are based on the fundamental axes that demonstrate to the Arab reader the uniqueness of the stringent critique that Heidegger formulated in re-reading the entire Western metaphysical philosophical heritage, from Plato to Nietzsche. Compared to philosophical studies in Arabic that have dealt with Heidegger, this work is characterized by ease of expression, clarity of analysis, accuracy of philosophical translation, and originality in linguistic crafting, striving to elegantly weave Heidegger’s terminologies in a way that is as fitting as possible for the genius of the Arabic language.
