Ibn Sīnā, known as “Al Shaikh Al Ra’ees,” or the master wise man, was born in 370 AH / 980 AD. From a young age, he was distinguished by his passion for knowledge, constantly engaging in reading and study. He memorized the Holy Quran and excelled in all that he studied. By the age of sixteen, he had gained fame in the field of medicine. Ibn Sīnādedicated himself to the study of philosophy, mastering the natural sciences, logic, and mathematics, and delved into metaphysics.
