I define being here as the self in its various and multiple definitions. It is the self when it thinks, loves, hates, transgresses, envies, sacrifices, lies, and believes.
The dark being is the self in its evil definition, since evil always tends toward harming others, from insults to murder, and all the evil behavior patterns in between.
Being has no meaning other than the meaning we bestow upon it. Love, hate, profession, and all the behavior and consciousness that flow from a human being are closely linked to the meaning you have bestowed upon your life and upon life in general. Every grumbling, rejection, rebellion, murder, and other expressions are nothing but the practical and moral expression of your belief that there is a breach in the meaning formulated for life.
