General policies of the Barqawi Library
I. Definitions
Loan: The loan of library materials to beneficiaries for use within and outside the Library for a limited period.
Beneficiaries: They are individuals or groups of people willing to use library resources and services.
II. Objective
The dissemination of ethical, beautiful, enlightened and tolerant values, as well as the creation of an intellectual elite whose reality is a sound methodological reflection.
III. Scope
This policy applies to all users of the Barqawi Library.

- The Library must continuously develop, review, update and implement loan policies and procedures in accordance with the international standards of specialized libraries.
- Beneficiaries must respect loan policies and procedures.
- The Library will ensure access to all users in need of information while implementing appropriate standards for the provision of library resources.
- Library staff will ensure accurate records and statistics on beneficiaries and materials borrowed through the Integrated Library system upon request.
- The Barqawi Library ensures the maintenance and modernization of the integrated library system and links it to the various sections to achieve accuracy and flexibility in the functioning.
V. Membership of the Barqawi Library

- The qualified candidate must register in the library.
- During the library visit, users must provide evidence of their membership in the philosophy house.
- Visitors who do not subscribe to the annual membership must attend a valid ID.
Types of membership of the Barqawi Library
Golden membership
- Cultural rooms - free.
- The e-library.

- Loan to 5 books for 2 weeks

Silver membership
- Cultural rooms - 2 hours a day free.

Visitors (non-members)
- Cultural rooms - 30 o'clock

VI. Loan system
- Observe the laws and regulations of the Library.
- Bring the ID card.
- Payment of subscription fees for required membership.
- Notify the Library if it wants to be renewed to avoid fines.

VIII. Repatriation of Library sources
Librarians are responsible for the timely return of sources to avoid fines and no new material can be borrowed or refurbished before the previous material is returned.
IX. Renewal of Library sources
- Renewal is allowed only once before the deadline.
- Refurbishment of materials held by other users is not permitted.
- Spontaneous warnings are sent to members to remind them of the date of return.
X. Lost or damaged substances
In the event of loss or damage to borrowed material, the beneficiary must:
- Pay twice the price of the substance or provide an alternative version.
- Payment of fines or fees required for renewal of membership.
