The concept of the phenomenon

The term “phenomenon” is a fundamental term in philosophy, given that it carries many connotations.
Phenomenon has many meanings:
1. External reality affecting the senses, such as physical and chemical phenomena.
2. Psychological reality perceived through sensation, such as emotional and mental phenomena.
3. Phenomenon also refers to all empirical facts investigated by science.
4. For the German philosopher Kant, phenomenon has a special meaning, which is its application to everything that occurs in time and space.
