Al-Farabi was born in 874 AD and is often referred to as the “Second Teacher” after Aristotle, whom Arab philosophers called the “First Teacher.” He was part of the history of Islamic Arabic philosophy and culture, where various races and cultures merged. Al-Farabi is considered the founder of Islamic philosophy, and his works have been translated into many foreign languages.
