In this study, we examined “what mentality is” across three chapters. In the first chapter, we explored the concept of mentality from the perspective of its linguistic meaning, its foundational cultural implications, and the commonly accepted scientific terminology related to the concept of mentality. In the second chapter, we investigated mentality as a medium of transformation within the historical context. We began with a reading of the “History of Mentalities,” followed by an analysis of “Historians of Mentality.” In the third chapter, we examined the relationship between mentality and philosophy, positing that mentality provides the potential for critical thought and the ability to grasp the dimensions that enable the realization of consciousness in reality, or what we might call “worldview.”
